The human eye is often said to be the window to the soul, revealing one’s emotions, thoughts, and personality.
In this project, I aim to capture the beauty and uniqueness of the human iris, the colored part of the eye that controls the amount of light entering the pupil. Using a macro lens, I dive in different people’s eyes, highlighting the intricate patterns, textures, and colors of their irises. Each picture is an invitation to lose ourselves in the depth and mystery of the eye.
I’m also trying to convey the mood and expression of each person through their eyes and their cultural and ethnic diversity.
By doing so, I hope to show the viewers the amazing complexity and diversity of the human eye, and how it reflects the essence of who we are.
